The Department of Cadet Activities at The Citadel is looking for families and/or individuals willing to become a sponsor in our Cadet Sponsor Program.  A sponsor provides a “home away from home” for one or more freshmen cadets.  As sponsor, you would be offering some “down-time” during their very stressful and demanding first year of college.  Many of these young men and women often have no place to go during their limited free time.  They ask very little – a place to “crash/hang out”- sleep, watch TV, sometimes study and upon occasion, a meal.  These matches can create lifetime relationships that you are certain to cherish.
